Ordered QP on app. Picked up. Walked to touch screens and entered code for fries. Picked up and left. Dinner for $1
I added the raspberry pie for $1.50 as dessert (when dessert costs more than the entire meal) haha

No. In WA, the codes expiring today, expire at about 9pm.
I was smart and took a screenshot of my free quarterpounder code so that when it had all sold out, and my coupon didn't scan, I just batted my eyelids and they put it through for me. Went to the kiosk and got the $1 fries and $1 large frozen coke :)
The code refreshes every so often once you open it up.
That's why you screenshot it so the code doesn't change

YMMV obviously but I didn't have any issues with it personally.
Despite seemingly half my suburb being at the store with their apps open I was able to order when I was walking and it was just about ready as I walked into the door. Showed them the number and then walked out the door with my free burger.
Yeah it loaded a bit slower than usual but when you consider how many people were using the app at the same time it doesn't really come as a huge shock.
Are you meant to show your number?
I used to and they ignored it. But sometimes they look at me like I'm a criminal. The kiosks don't print a receipt half the time.
I've had one guy ask to see the number like I was some criminal about to steal a $5 meal but otherwise I just walk up and get my food without issue.
It's not perfect but it is usable (at least on iOS)
I've never had an issue with the app. What phone are you using? As that could be the issue.
I thought this was a substitute for the loaded fries that expired earlier in the evening (odd, thought most offers ended midnight!). All free QPs exhausted as well by the time I got to my local so had a $2 mcbites, $1 fries, $1.50 raspberry pie and a small free coffee (student edge) to wash it down. Pretty good for a $4.50 meal.
How did you get a free coffee on student edge? I thought that was only for soft drinks/OJ.
Did you mean seniors cardIn VIC you're able to choose small OJ or coffee :) I think in NSW it's only soft drinks/OJ.
