Is the key only for one computer?

  • After installation completed, it said enter email address for trial activation.

    • Did you copy and paste the link in the OP description?

      • Yes I did but that box said "Please enter email for trial activiation so should I enter it?

        • It'll ask you for your name and email address. Enter some dummy name and a valid email address. You'll be sent the link to download and serial key.

    Hows the program itself?

    • +1

Easy to use and produces fantastic output with bracket shots.

  • Copy pasted "https://skylum.com/l/nphoto" and put in a +aurora@ email.
    Got an email with code.
Installed Aurora HDR 2018 from the email.
    Tried to activate, failed.

    Woe is me.

EDIT: Activated by removing the "+aurora" part from the email in the application when activating.

  • Program is good. I owned this already and use for processing HDR brackets taken on my Olympus em1. Makes it very easy due to presets.

    • does it support 360 images preview?

always wanted to get into photography, this is a sign!!!

    • +1

      same! :)

  • @dealbot It feels kind of weird that they redirect you away from that link, and there's no explanation for the deal on the page. Do you mind me asking where you found the deal? It's a great product, and I'd love to grab a copy.

    • Just to clarify, I’m not saying this isn’t a legitimate deal, just would help me decide whether to go for it.

    • In the email they send, it says the following:

You recently purchased a NPhoto magazine, which makes you eligible for a complimentary copy of the award-winning Aurora HDR 2018 photo editor.

      • Thanks brotherrfranciz, that’s helpful to know.

  • I've done everything as you say but every time I enter the activation no. an error box appears saying"Serial number and email don't match, fix mistake. You have 5 tries left". I've tried this about 5 times and always the same message. Any ideas?

    • I think you downloaded the 2019 version, delete it and download from the link in your email that had the activation code. It will be the 2018 version.

      • Thats exactly what I did. all sorted now. Works well

  • Thanks, it works

  • Thanks dealbot!

  • Worked fine for me. Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP

  • Thanks OP - worked for me 100%. Nice find.

  • Worked fine, as per the above instructions. Thanks OP!

  • How large is the download?
Can I get the download and key now and activate at a later date?

    • From memory, 300 odd MB. You'll receive the key and link to download. Can't see why you can't do it at a later date.

      • Thanks.

  • worked fine with instructions above ~335MB download. THANKS OP :D

  • Thanks OP, worked great. Been wanting to give Aurora a try, now I have a real excuse to :-)

  • And works for me too, using the instructions provided. I've got both the Mac and Windows version downloaded, activated the Mac one successfully but presumably the key works for both. Thanks OP!

Does this also include the Lightroom Plug in ?

    • +1

I have both the Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom on my PC.
When I open the Aurora HDR program, under File/Install Plugins, pops up window where you can choose which plugin you want to install, there is one for Lightroom and one for Photoshop.
      But I haven't installed them.

  • I tried it and it's really good software. Thanks, OP.

Anyone who interested in free presets, you can try the link below. Just make sure you copy the preset file into the folder before open the program.

    https://www.freepresets.com/product-category/free-aurora-hdr…

    • This is the only thing working currently. The old link redirects to the 2019 version no matter what you try. Thanks mate.

      • No worries for the links, but remember that you will still need the product key to activate it.

        • +1

Yep, the fact that I missed that train has slowly sunk in haha.

  • It worked fine.
    Thanks!

  • Great post, thanks a bunch OP!

  • I tried the copy, paste trick on a few devices without success. Anyone else able to access the 2018 version still?

    • i tried the link using 2 different browsers on my home computer just then … appears to always default back to the Trial version page now
(i'd previously already used this computer earlier to get a copy: that may or may not be a factor in it nor showing up the second time on my setup)

  • me too, I can only see the 2019
