    If you can't wait.. using the Ozbargain coupon + MBC will save you ~18% straight up, which is pretty fine.

      What's worse than an overpriced MAC? An overpriced PC. Alienware needs to reduce their price but about … 700-800 dollars. Minimum. That's about the only time I'd consider an Alienware.

      But they have a really cool brand. I'd love to own an Alienware PC.

        Yeah, they should be cheaper…I've always been under the impression that illegal Alien workers are poorly paid…but then, they do have to ship them all the way from Groom Lake, Nevada! :p

  Very average deal, Vostro is pretty much Dell's bottom of the line business model, I would say the Lenovo edge deals that pop up regularly is a better deal than this

  Very similar to the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E520, this has windows pro instead of home premium and hard drive is 50% bigger, but cost $40 more.

  Lenovo is bit more customisable, better webcam, can upgrade battery to 9 cell, $40 cheaper.

    The Edge E520 with i5-2410M with 6630M for $679, or $611 with tonight's LATENIGHTSALE coupon, seems like such a good deal, it friggin' breaks my heart that it lacks USB 3.0. Been keeping an eye out for a matching deal from other manufaturers' models (with USB 3.0) but am yet to spot one.

        US is always half price as in AU. we never have such deals
