      Corrected, Cheers

  • I've been eyeing the Surface Go for a month or so now, but haven't been willing to pull the trigger because I feel like it isn't quite there in specs. Obviously this is overboard in comparison, but is there something in between the Surface Go and this?

I know this isn't a direct competitor to the Surface Go, but it is a 2-in-1 with pen support and a good display.

  • Can you get this on their eBay store and use the 20% discount code ?

  • anyone own this the reviews say display is a bit dim

    • That's my sons experience too.
      Average for casual games.

  • just a note

those of you who use remote access and citrix - the dell software is incompatible and breaks citrix access. PM me you want me to elaborate.

    • I normally reimage laptops to vanilla win 10 to get rid of bloat …. wouldn't that fix issues ?

      • yes that fixed my issue.

i had to get my tech support guy to do it. how do you reimagined to vanilla win10 btw?

  • Is this basically a slightly upgraded version of this? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/459605
I think maybe the display is worse.

I really want to get this for uni but I found this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/435902
Is it worth waiting for a better deal? Especially with the EOFY starting

  • Might see if JB can price match

    • went to them and they were not happy to price match and did not look like they had same model.
Sales person wanted to sell me microsoft surface instead. because surface is fast and better.

Ended up buying from Dell. With the 12% cashback I got like $150 back, so made it a lot more worth it

        • i bought a bit older model from ebay

i need to understand cashback and shopback concepts. if it is as high as 12%. i am loosing a lot of money.

        • how did you get back $150?

          • @bluebluebird: Using the shopback app. For some reason i got 150 back. Not sure why but eh, not complaining. I cant actually put it back into my account until August thouhh

  • Picked this up for $826.57 after a $152.62 cash back.

Good deal for the specs. Missus wanted something akin to a surface go but I couldn’t stomach the specs for the price. This looks great and reviews are favourable.

Agreed. Even with the poorer display, the 8th gen i5 more than makes up for it

      • Absolutely. The display on this is no slouch however.

  • Is this deal still on? Link to Dell site shows $1,398.99. Am I missing something?

  • Thanks Amos. Any reviews on 7000 series, specs looks good. Not sure about AMD GIU?
