Vodafone (network-locked) has A20 in-store only for $199. Not sure if Vodafone's has NFC or not (since most international version has no NFC)

I thought about that but don't use Vodafone so would cost $50 to unlock.

  • dual sim or single?

    • all local A series are single sim

  • RRP $279 for reference.

A30 is the next cheapest priced at under 305 AUD after code.

    • GSMArena lists the A30 as having Corning Glass 3. No such listing for the A20.

Wonder when we can get our hands on the A70 (with Oz warranty)

  • How does this compare with the Nokia 5.1+ please? NFC and other connective is not important, key is whether the phone is laggy.

GSM Arena doesn't have benchmark on both phones https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=9640&idPhone2…

      Nokia 5.1
      faster processor
      3gb ram
      Pixel density
      Stock android one

      Samsung A20
      bigger screen
      AMOLED sexiness
      NFC
      Newer Bluetooth version

5.1 might be dual sim I'm not sure???

        Correction: both should have 3GB.

        • Samsung A20 v Nokia 5.1 Plus v Huawei Nova 3e? All around $200-240 price range recently

Work got me to test one of these…

Incredible bit of kit for such a small price.

The only small issue I have is it doesn't support 5ghz wifi (not a game killer but still annoying)

    • I find their mid or lower end phones usually don't have 5ghz wifi. even $2XX xiaomi phones have 5ghz wifi but no NFC and Band 28 tho.

  • good phone but single sim is a deal breaker
