Not since the devaluation, at best it's 2,500 Qantas points.
Qantas points card didn't get devalued. (I still get 1.25 QFF points per dollar spent.) Last chat with Amex over phone, they confirmed no reduction for QFF points.
I'll double check again, but was definitely told it doesn't affect my Westpac Amex QFF card@Spending2Much: Ah then my mistake I thought you were talking about Amex direct cards, not bank Amex cards. Those are fine if you're eligible.
Careful I had this pop up on my dashboard long time ago after logging in. Added a new cardholder and met the spending limit only to be told that I wasn't eligible because it was not my first additional cholder. Knowing ozbers have a large number of (allegedly) additional cardholders just keep it in mind.
I went on chat and asked them before I applied as I already had an additional card.
The rep said it was fine as this is a new offer as they has a minimum spend.
Mine had a min spend too. But good luck, hopefully they gave you the right info.
