      No, payment by gift cards will not earn a cashback.
      To qualify for cashback, you have to pay with your eligible Westpac credit card and the transaction has to be appear on your CC statement ("The relevant date for determining eligibility is the date of the transaction as it appears on your monthly card statement").

      For the JB Hi-Fi offer, if you purchase items for $50 and pay by gift card, it will not register on your CC statement, so no cashback.
      If you purchase items for $100 and pay $50 gift card and the rest on CC, it will register $50 on your CC statement, so cashback is paid as a statement credit.

        I think they mean can you buy gift cards to get the cashback, which you should be able to in theory

    For Dell, I have $150 cashback for $1000 spending.

    But I still have to give up cashbacks for this, and a lot of the time, the cashbacks are worth more. Or maybe I don't. But I still prefer to use my 28D because the purchase protection is expected to be worth more than $150.

      Unless it's changed since June 2018, you don't have to give up the other cashbacks.

      I bought this Dell deal last year, and got
      - Westpac $150 cashback for $1000 spend
      - Upscaled 8.5% cashback via Cashrewards
      - Upscaled 10% discount coupon via Dell Advantage Program (which I used to buy a Dell monitor)

    No JB cashback offer under my wife's account. Just access to a JB Special Offers page with "special prices" for cameras and audio gear. Still, the OP deal reminds us that it is worth checking the Rewards and Offers page.

    I have a Westpac Credit Card and wonder, will this work by using this card when buying on the Dell Shop on eBay? I looked at my account to see what and where it can be used but it doesn't seem to show anything about Dell.
