    The PER to MDE flights are horrendous.
    45 hours and four stops - PER to SYD, SYD to SCL, SCL to BOG, BOG to MDE. Then reverse (but via Melbourne).
    Ouch. Those planes had better be magnificent because you are stuck in them for two full days!

      The long SYD to SCL leg on LATAM is pretty good - Dreamliners if I'm not mistaken. It's the Qantas operated ones you have to avoid… Aging 747s with tiny screens.

    I've visited more than 20 counties, and Colombia is outstandingly cool! Especially Medellín. Go somewhere off the beaten track and leave your prejudicial cocaine views behind.
