  • Good price

  • I see a lot of the cheaper mechanical keyboards come up and everyone saying how much better they are than membrane boards. The only thing holding me back is the programmable/macro keys that I have on my G510. I really like these so just wondering is there a mech keybaord with programmable keys still on the cheap?

    • +1

Well the G613 seems to be about $110, $165 for the G910 if you want lighting.

    • You can map Macros with this keyboard, like alot of other mechanic keyboards. Unless you want separate macro keys then yes there are other Logitech mech keyboards that have G keys still.

    • TLDR; Buy an old corsair K95 or attach the numpad on the left side of the Claymore to use for macros…

I use to have the G510 & G510s and it was my go to keyboard especially when I played WOW heavily. I literally only used the 18 macro keys and absolutely loved it.

Corsair K95 & K95 RGB are mechanical keyboards with the same layout with 18 macro keys on the left. Unfortunately they've been discontinued and have been replaced with the new K95 Platinum which only has 6 macro keys (lame). I've decided to move away from the 18 macro keys only because manufacturers have moved away from that style and doesn't look like they're releasing any, any time soon. Seeing I haven't gamed for a while it's probably the best time to switch as hopefully I've lost some of the muscle memory associated with 18 keys.

Now, with the ROG Claymore you can actually attach the number pad to left side of the keyboard and use it as macro keys if left handed macro keys is what you need.

  • This or Razer Blackwidow Elite (worth +$100)?

  • Just grabbed a Blue
