I got a pair of the v4.1 early 2017. Lasted about a year of use before they stopped working. I pulled it apart and one of the 4 wires that connect the ear wire to the main circuit had popped off. I tried to resolder but it was too finicky and I fused two circuits. Went to the bin.
Long story short, don't pull the wires at all, they are weakly soldered. Also be careful as the rubber ear holds come off fairly easily.
They were pretty good for their price. Easy to set up and use. Sounded ok but mainly listened to podcasts.
Have since got the Plantronics Backbeat Fit and like them.
