      FYI They've been called DualShock since 1997. Previous version was Dual Analog, they changed the name to Dual Shock (then DualShock) to represent the dual analog sticks plus the vibration feedback.

      I read this yesterday and needed an excuse to share it, thanks for your bad joke.

      Buy some cheap caps for $1 on eBay, or salvage the ones from the non-working controller.

        Done that a couple times. But she's also ripped out the shoulder buttons, and deformed the controller.
        1 is easy enough to repair, the other… Not worth the effort. Getting 2, keeping others for parts
