Silicon Power with similar specs cheaper at amazon… https://www.amazon.com.au/Silicon-Power-Gen3x4-000MB-SU001TB…

    • Good deal if you have the $30 coupon from Amazon AU from the 10TB WD drives.

I actually just bought it because the chance that I'd otherwise use the $30 coupon is minimal…

Not exactly a great alternative for $10 cheaper.

      • Which review are you looking at? The ADATA only seemed to excel in non-fragmented random read or sequential writes, and the performance falls off a cliff when the drive is full. I think the SP is quite a good alternative.

I agree with your assessment on those factors, but I would consider the standard use cases to be low queue-depth reads, then mixed workloads.

The 8200 Pro's performance at everything other than 98% full seems to be great, making it the superior buy for home users.
