  You should probably specify that those prices are per book, and not ie 600 books for $0.99.

        Actually, I did not agree that it was ambiguous at all, truth be told. Trying to make sure everybody is happy. Sorry if I caused any confusion. Still hoping interested individuals find some bargains.

  I found some books sold in Amazon are available for free to download in popular open source ebook sites eg.
  http://www.gutenberg.org/

  It's better check these sites if books you are after are available for free before paying Amazon.

    ~$130 AUD for the Wi-FI model.

    Though I fully suspect newer ones to be around the corner to counter the new Nook B/W. There is also a rumoured Amazon Android Tablet in the works too.
