    • Lol fair enough mate, but this is fking CD projekt red. Not some shit Bethesda or Activision or Ea. The only companies to preorder from is larian studios and CD projekt red lol. That is it period haha. I mean balders gate 3 will be fking epic and so will this cyberpunk 2077 xD

Can't believe people are pre-ordering the collectors edition when no-one's even played the game yet. It's not even finished! For the price of a serious piece of kit!

    Insane.

    • +3

At least a physical item will have some sort of scarcity. Pre-ordering a digital game is absolutely useless.

  • +2

No preorders. No man sky and fallout 76 allover again

Lol your talking about some shit developers lol. We are talking about CD projekt red here. Another one guaranteed pre order will be from larian studios who is now making baldurs gate 3.they are the only game developers I will ever preorder a game from.

Maybe think of it like this.
Pre ordering is like gambling. You never know whether the game will turn out good or bad until reviews come out. Sure this game has a lower chance of failing than most other games but why take the risk at all?

        • Fair point. I never preorder unless it is from larian or CD projekt red. I used to preorder plenty of games when I was younger but was always disappointed with all the hype, then lost trust in most developers or publishers. I don't mind rockstar for there single player content but there multiplayer is usually pretty bad. Gta 5 was alright but red dead redemption 2 was shocking online and still is.i guess naughydog has earned enough cred from the last of us.

I do agree with you about preordering in general. I have far too much trust in these 2 possibly 3 studios.

THIS is the junk that ruins Ozbargain!

The only two games I have ever preorderd - Oblivion and Andromeda were both absolutely terrible compared to their predecessors. Throw caution into the wind when consisering repurchase friends.

    • +2

Just out of curiosity, why didn't you like Oblivion? I thought it was fantastic.

      • +1

The world design was pretty bland to Morrowind, a lot of the game design was dumbed down in terms of how characters interacted with your race, how crafting worked, how you could become the head of every guild in the game, how enemies scaled with your level so you never felt more powerful, the UI was changed for use on consoles and attempting to use it with a mouse was incredibly clunky.

There's a lot of issues with the design of Oblivion that took a big step backwards from Morrowind.

I did enjoy the shivering isles expansion though, the world design was a lot better in that. After you install some UI mods so you can easily sort through your inventory and quest windows and install a mod that disables the dynamic enemy levelling it's a lot better.

      • Honestly @agret just read my mind and put into comment from, exactly this. The scaling enemies were the biggest issue, I am not a mmorpg person and do not like this.

I only started the scrolls series with Oblivion but it sounds like I've been missing out and will give Morrowind a try.

So you get some photos you can download?

  • Please don't downvote Gog. They're the good guys. Far from perfect, but better than the rest.

    • +1

Except that they hate linux. No tux, no bux. At least with steam, you get streamlined use of proton to fix that.

  • While I'm excited to play this game, full price with a few digital asset downloads does not make this a deal. If however your actual deal posted was the one you wrote in the description ($79 at JB) then this would be a +.

  • Pre order and you go in the draw for a guest spot in John Wick 5.. then maybe I'll pre order.

    Otherwise, I'll wait.

    • A digital game for $90, for that money I'd expect to be cast as John Wick
