    Probably want to get the bluetooth dimmer switch to go with it so you don't have to fumble with your phone everytime, though cheaper on Aliexpress (~US$10)

        I've found the downside of that with a houseful of noisy kids :)

        Really the biggest problem I've found having wifi connected lights is without a physical controller next to the normal one there's always someone turning them off at the switch which kind of defeats the purpose.

    What wiring does this run? Active, Neutral, Earth? or just active and earth?

      Base is earthed but just active and neutral run to light itself as can be seen in the pics on here

      The remote is available as battery powered which would be the way to go

      You must be new here. Those brands are highly trusted by the Ozbargain community—often favoured for their value. However greenest can be slow with standard shipping.
