    • Can's sold out, website says code is now working on the Bottles. Same great beer. Thanks OP

      • Just bought a case. Cans are back in stock, but unfortunately the code doesn't apply to bottles anymore.

  • Just ordered. Thanks

  • $50 per carton?

    • +13

Yep, i read it as 2 x Birds Pale Ale Carton first lol

      • +1

        same

        • -1

          Same. Sad to hear otherwise!

  • I'm getting 'Sorry, this coupon is not applicable to selected products.' now.

    • Its only for cans, Not Bottled

      • Oh man I'm dumb haha, works fine.

    • Same.

Edit: I added bottles. It's cans only

  • +2

Anyone tried these before? Any good?

    • +3

2 birds make perfectly fine, clean beers. I like the pale the best of the 3.

    • yes …very

    • +1

Passion victim is one of my all time favourites, like a good pale ale with a dash of pasito

      • Despacito

        • Have a downvote for reminding me that song exists.

        • Have another cause I like jumping on the neg bandwagon

      • sounds good

  • Thanks got the pale ale!

  • Bought 3 thanks!

  • +4

Damn their Sunset Ale is awesome, not too keen on the Pale Ale.

    • +1

Agreed - assume only reason it's excluded as it's not in cans

    • +1

I rate the sunset ale, too. I was at the brewery once and got two cases of Sunset for 35 each because they were changing the labels…

  • +3

Bought a slab of the Passion Victim for $60. Thanks OP.

  • +4

Passion Victim for $60 is excellent. Such an amazing beer. Pay like $90 in most places (if you're lucky enough to even find it).

  • Passion Victim & Pale here - Well done OP

  • +2

Worth a try especially since I prefer beer in a can lately.

    Cheers OP.

    • +1

I have been enjoying cans a lot more too!

  • Have not tried this beer before. In the spirit of ozbargain, I've bought 2 cartons. Thanks OP.

  • Brilliant! Thanks

  • +1

Hey OP, any details on how the discount works at Dan Murphys, e.g. do I just quote the same promo code?

    • +1

Not sure. Reading the promo again, I think it means the offer is available via Two Birds, but the beverages are also available for purchase at Dan Murphys and local bottle shops.

Added a screenshot of the promo to the post.

      • Ah, ok, thanks - will just order direct

      • -1

Can you change your listing to avoid the confusion?

  • Cheers OP, grabbed a case of the pale cans!

  • Cheers, thanks for this - too early to know, but this has nothing to do with soon-expiring cases or anything, just a Tough Mudder promo?

So I went to a brewery tour recently and therefore I'm an expert on beer. But I found it very interesting that cans are supposedly much better than bottles in almost all aspects. Doesnt leak air, doesnt get burnt as glass is transparent and it's better for the environment!

    • +2

It's not so much "burnt" as UV light penetrating the glass and causing unwelcome chemical reactions that involve sulphur which can make the beer smell "skunked".

But yeah, I feel like cans have gotten a bad rap over the years mainly because of the crappy beer that they contain rather than it being an issue with the type of container.

The "glass keeps it colder" factor is a contributor as shit beers taste awful as they warm up and betray their true flavours whereas the flavour of a good beer often changes for the better as it warms.

      • That's what stubbie holders are for!

        • +4

About the only thing I do is pour into a wide open glass so I can enjoy the smell as drinking :)

  • Was going to get the 4 variety pack because I don't know which beer , doesn't work : (

Got Passion instead seems to have some fans in thread .

  • +3

Wow, that "I acknowledge I am 18 years or older" checkbox is really well hidden, and I'd say superfluous considering they have already asks for DOB.
I kept on getting a red error box, with no message to tell me what the issue was. Finally found I'd missed that checkbox. Hoping the Passion Victim is as good as it sounds.

    • +1

Not so much hard to find as the error is confusing, if you don't click that box it just says "Internal Server Error" which isn't exactly helpful

    • +1

Maaaaaaaaaaate, thanks for pointing that out. I was stuck on the same thing :-)

  • Cheers op , ordered mine.

  • Would love to try this beer but 50-60 bucks for a beer that I have never try before hmmm. Only if they have a pack of 6 or something :)

  • Excellent find. Thanks op!

  • Giving the Passion Victim a try for $60. Thanks OP!

  • Can's sold out, website says code is now working on the Bottles. Just love this beer. Thanks OP

  • Pale Ale cans are now sold out, but the website states that the code is now available on the Pale Ale bottles.

  • +1

If there is one thing I love more than a good ozbargain deal, it's a good ozbargain deal on beer.

  • bottles still available at $50 with free delivery.

  • 1 beer for you, 5 for the tax man, straya

  • +1

    Anyone received shipping details yet?

    • +1

No. They seem a bit slow in that regard. How long till our deliveries? Man's thirsty dammit!

      • +1

Same. Was hoping to have them by the weekend. Doubt it though.

        • Just sent them an email. They said the first of the bulk orders are being sent today.

    • +1

      Nope very slow…….

      • +1

Yea still haven't heard a single thing. Fingers crossed it's all good.

  • Where my beer at Two Boids?

    • +1

      I just received tracking info.

  • +1

Nothing here yet. Not even email. I'm sure they're good for it, probs just canning it up still

    • +1

I didn’t receive any emails from two birds, but got the notification in the Aus post app.

  • I’ve received mine

    • Still waiting… my tracking has been saying ‘shipment approved’ since Friday.

  • I got AusPost notification on Friday and it was delivered yesterday - with the (VIC) weather, it was even delivered pre-chilled!

  • I ordered a carton of Pale Ale bottles and a carton of Aussie lager cans. I received the Auspost notification for both on Friday, but only the pale ale arrived today.

The lager is still showing as "Shipment approved". I suspect they're still canning it, or just haven't sent it yet for some other reason.

  • Code now works on the bottles as the cans are sold-out

  • I ordered 15 June and still nothing but 'shipping approved' last Friday. Contacted them, they said it was being sent out last Wednesday or Thursday, and that it would arrive either this week or next week. Bit of a mystery why delivery to Brisbane would take 2-3 weeks.

    • My tracking has said the same thing since Friday. Brissy also. Hoping to get it by the weekend.

      • I too am another Brisbane buyer in the same boat as you two. Bought other beers well after this one and they arrived well before so it's really a tardy job here.

        • +1

Sooo slow. I want my beer 🍻

Still no change to my shipping.

Edit: finally changed and has arrived in Brissy. Hopefully get it tomorrow.

        • Yep mine arrived yesterday.

  • mine got damaged in transit and is being sent back to sender
