    For that amount of money, I'd recommend the Mitsubishi WX743 fridge. Unhaggled price is around 4k, you may find it's not that hard to haggle down to 3.5k mark, I did once at Harvey Norman.

        yeap. Mitsubishi fridges are ranked higher at this price point. 150L smaller, but you'll find you'll be able to stock bigger things as the WX743 doesn't have the middle wall like this one.

          WX743 has 5yr part/labour warranty, 10yr part on compressor. LG is only 2yr warranty.

            @tio: wrong information for LG warranty. found this in the LG AU website.
            10 Year Parts Warranty*
            * 2 Years parts and labour + 3 years on sealed refrigeration system (compressor, evaporator, dryer and tubing) parts only + 5 years on compressor (part only)

          ranked higher? in where? I don't see any Mintsubishi fridges at top rank in a popular web site such CNet. All I can see is Whirlpool,GE, SAMSUNG OR LG. Not a single Mitsubishi…?

          its either a typo on appliancesonline website, or im new to this fridge world, but the fridge capacity is 377L and freezer is 151L, which adds up to only 528L

          Middle wall in freezer, not the fridge. This is a French door not a side by side… and if your just getting juice, milk, eggs and such then the door in door on the right is all you access and reduced the need to recool and waste electricity…

      Is yours made in Japan? I really want to get one of this but have to wait until the current one dead first or we moving to another home which ever comes first.

      Just been to Japan, nowadays their fridges all have the same look, eg mirror door and multiple drawers, but we can only get the Mitsubishi brand here in Australia. Panasonic is not big here just wondering when will they start selling their fridge.
