do they come with pants as well?

    • +45

Pretty sure a suit with no pants is called a jacket. Probably also swift tazering and arrest.

      • thanks just bought one!

  • With cashrewards it is basically a suit for $100!

  • Standard Delivery (3-7 business days) FREE
    Parcel Pickup FREE

Only stock around my size is in Sydney, but in not.

  • What about returns due to size etc? Also can anyone vouch for quality?

    • It's $100. Even if it's just a piece of paper thin material, you have gotten your moneys worth.

      • +13

Prefer not to waste $100 when you can wait for a decent sale and get nice suits around the $200 range

    • Free returns if it doesn't fit

  • Wow - you Ozbs are quick - most sizes gone in a few minutes!

    • +1

As OP pointed out - if you can find one in your size. Quite a few were unavailable at posting.

      • +4

I did go through the link - found lots of sizes available; wasted 5 precious minutes checking size, came back and most gone.
This was in the last 15 min.
I'm not complaining - first in, best dressed.

        • Especially with this suit.

        • First in, most cheaply dressed. Hehe. Exact same thing happened to me, didn't know ozbargainers were so numerous.

  • If you pay via PayPal and return you’ll be given store credit according to the website.

    • +1

      isnt that illegal

      • No.

        • i thought it was. they can't force store credit on you if you want a refund paid via credit card. the store could collapse and you've lost your money.

          • @[Deactivated]: No it's not illegal.
They don't even need to return things if you have the wrong size or change your mind.

They can give you a refund however they like.

            • @spaceflight: i know about return policies, receipts etc.

i would say that store credit isn't really a 'refund', because by not choosing to shop at that store again i'm not really getting my money back.

i'd do a chargeback in that case.

never had this issue before though, except in the case of gift cards because it's the same payment method.

can't find much specifics in google.

                I don't think you do

That's because the store doesn't need to give you a refund.

i'd do a chargeback in that case.

                For what reason?

"I don't like the store policy" isn't a chargeback reason

can't find much specifics in google.

Refunds aren’t always an automatic right. Businesses don’t have to give you a refund if you:

                change your mind
                buy the wrong size
                buy the wrong colour.
Some businesses still do offer refunds in these situations. This is their choice and not a legal requirement.

Some businesses might offer replacement items, exchanges or credit notes instead of a refund

                • @spaceflight:

Businesses will usually give you a refund in the same way that you originally paid them. This might be cash, cheque, money order or electronic transaction. They won’t give you the refund in cash unless that’s how you paid them.

Businesses don’t always have cash available, even if you paid cash originally. If this is the case, they must give you the refund in another form. Some businesses might offer replacement items, exchanges or credit notes instead of a refund. You can insist on a refund if a consumer guarantee entitles you to one.

i can't see them being able to force store credit on you. that's my point.

                  consumer law > store policy

                    Yes they can.

                    consumer law > store policy

                    It does.

But if you just want to return something because you changed your mind or it doesn't fit there is no consumer law and you aren't entitled to a refund.

                    I don't think you've understood what you've quoted.

You can insist on a refund if a consumer guarantee entitles you to one.

There is no automatic entitlement to a consumer guarantee for every reason.

You are entitled to a refund if a consumer guarantee applies.

A store does not have to give a refund or replacement if a customer simply changes their mind about a product.

                    • @spaceflight: didn't say it is for every reason

    • +6

If you show how you paid and which card it was charged to, they can refund it to that. Otherwise customer service in any store can email the online department to refund you via Paypal.

  • bad suit …
whool ok but the look is not really good on the pic

    • maybe due to the model - lack necessary muscle to accentuate the jacket…

Height 186 cm, chest 96 cm, waist 81 cm
      Model wears: Size 100R

Thanks OP, perfect for my high school reunion next week. This suit will make me look successful even though I'm not

    • +3

Too bad, your ozbargainer classmates will spill the beans

  • Bought a modern 100% Wool suit (dark blue) with tags from the Salvos for $9.99 last week, which I'll wear to my graduation, lol. Good deal, though, OP, but keep an eye out for overly noticeable stitching. Not a good look for a suit imo.

    • shooting at airplanes?

  • I bought mine few days ago for $74.5 in Market st level 7 they had extra 50% off.

    Very wool.

No idea why this makes me giggle like an idiot.

  • Can't seem to add it to the cart and says $249 now

  • Unable to add to cart.

    • 3700 clicks can explain it

  • Thank f$#@ I don't have to impress anyone at work anymore and not wear suits.

  • I find it really difficult to buy suits online.. impossible to get it right!

      • +1

Yes that's it… if you're a student or work experience kid or just don't mind looking cheap.

        • -3

If you are worried about looking cheap this deal isn't good for you.
There are more expensive suits you can buy.

@spaceflight: Don't give up your day job mate. Comedy (or comprehension) isn't for you. Or just stay in school.

            • -5

@gimme: Don't give up your day job either, it's how you get money to buy expensive suits.

If anyone wants to buy this in sz 92, it'll be on classifieds, if my partner doesn't end up fitting it.

He's 96 in the chest, sz 92 was recommended in the chart for that, but just saw on here that the model is the same and wears sz 100 -_-. It's probably going to fit like spandex.

Thanks OP - went to collect my order this evening. As they forgot the trousers, and had run out, DJ's let me choose a replacement suit (in the size I wanted) and exchanged it for no extra charge. Win for me and talk about great customer service, go DJ's!!

  • I paid already but still haven't received any notification on delivery. My size is not available in Syd so I has to choose delivery. Anyone else heard anything on delivery?

  • +1

Just got an email saying they can't fill the order and are refunding.

  • I've managed to order 1 x 100R ,however the order was cancelled on following Tuesday no acknowledgement or email nothing very sus!

  • Well my order just arrived and it is just a jacket …no suit here!

Off to DJ's I go for a refund!

  • I received both of mine yesterday.
I bought one at $175, and then another at $100.
I will take the more expensive one back.
They both seem fine - I will need to hem the trousers as the legs seem a bit long, but otherwise perfectly fine.
