I really enjoyed breaking bad, but why would anyone want this? especially at that price.

    • +20

I can tell you when you come home late at night and turn on the light, it gives you a fright.

You are concerned that the one who knocks has arrived for you.

Breaking Bad is the best TV show I have ever seen and I love the memorabilia.

      • +5

And replace his eyeballs with animatronics and red led's

        • +1

LEDs connected to Google Home / Alexa,
so, the eyes light up (red)…everytime it hears "b*tch!"

      • +1

Just clocked Felina for the second time.
        Great show, would watch again.

        • I would have preferred an alternative final series.

One where Walt kills Jessie, Skyler and a few others.

He then goes into full remission of his cancer.

Than he retires with his disabled son to Mexico to enjoy the company of some nice chicas….

Breaking Bad is the best TV show I have ever seen

Have you even watched Saved by the Bell?

        • -1

          No.

Do you mean the original or one of the two spinoff series or one of the two spinoff movies?

I havent watched any of them and won't.

I am not one of these people who obsess over high school years and think The Breakfast Club is the greatest movie of all time…

    • +3

some people have more dollars than cents.

      • +21

agree… although isn't it "some people have more dollars than sense?" being a play on words for cents?

        • +2

Could be "some people have more dollars than scents?"….

    • +2

It comes full of his blue product

      • I wish. That truly would be a bargain!!

  • Nice find bargain

  • +44

Who the hell would pay $849 for this????

    Certificate of authenticity

That's redundant, no one would bother to copy this monstrosity

  • +7

    …. but why?

    • +3

I ask myself the same question about lots of things posted on OzBargain

      Like WuTang Wallabees

      https://www.hypedc.com/wallabee-boot-x-wu-tang-clan-black.ht…

      • +6

        THATS $20. THIS IS $849

        • It was $270 and some people paid $270….

          • @aussietivoman: Perhaps not, loss like they can't even shift them at $19.

            • @banana365: They only have limited sizes at $19.

I would rather Walter than Wallabees….

I guess Wallabees are popular with wannabes….

      • Suede boots for $20.

      • +2

The Wu-Tang Clan pioneered a style of lyricism more thoughtful and introspective than their contemporaries that led to a significant change in nature hip hop music still felt today. Members of the group have written extensively on philosophy and created an identity revolving around self-improvement and discipline.

This is a plastic bust of the dad from Malcolm in the Middle.

Even it this wasn't inherently tacky, the aesthetics of this thing as a display piece… There simply aren't words. More power to anyone that buys this or dreams of being able to though; Frankly I wish I loved anything enough to spend the best part of a grand on something like this.

        • Did Wu Tang also pioneer Lord Of The Rings esque boots?

I'd say Walter White has at least as much influence on modern culture as Wu-Tang Clan.
I havent heard of them before the wannabes were posted here.

I guess it depends which circles you mix in and your personal tastes, but I'll take Walter over any Wu-Tang life gear any day…

          • @aussietivoman: They were actually known for wearing Clark Wallabes, at least Ghostface Killah was. Supposedly Clarks shoes are still popular street fashion, though where I grew up in the UK they're synonymous with primary school kids.

Since I was mostly messing around, I'm not going to continue defending the bloody Wu-Tang Clan on OzBargain. I like the Breaking Bad enough and you can't deny the "blurring effect of culture" as more and more media is released every year, but I find it unlikely Breaking Bad will have anything close to the popularity of Wu-Tang in another 20 years.

        • +2

Their early work was a little too new wave for my tastes, but when Sports came out in '83, I think they really came into their own, commercially and artistically. The whole album has a clear, crisp sound, and a new sheen of consummate professionalism that really gives the songs a big boost. He's been compared to Elvis Costello, but I think Huey has a far more bitter, cynical sense of humor.

      • +1

While the shoes are hideous at least they serve a purpose.

    • Hot glue?

    Breaking bank*

Might have to learn to cook meth so I can afford this…

Google and a VPN are your friends….

      • Does DIY cooks really use VPN? Are they really that paranoid?

        • +9

Are you really that unaware of Australian Government surveillance of every citizen including you?

          All content: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Eyes

          All metadata: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Telecommunications_(Interception_and_Access)Amendment(Data_Retention)_Act_2015

          • +3

@Diji1: LOL the government can't even handle Centrelink or or the Federal Police being online. Five Eyes, if it exists in any format probably employs about 15 people to spy on a hand full of Chinese ex-pats.

            • +2

@Dentshop: Piss off the wrong corrupt cop or politician - five eyes will be all over you.

They can do it, they just dont bother to use it all that often.

              • @aussietivoman: Metadata surveillance is routinely abused and has been since the beginning.

Five Eyes is illegal and will never be openly used.

            • @Dentshop: Another case of breathtaking stupidity.

              • +1

                @Diji1: Better Call Saul! lol

          • @Diji1: Doesn't even have to be the government. The amount of information a single website can get on you is incredible.

  • Taking the piss?

    • +2

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

For those officianados of Breaking Bad its a valuable piece.

I dont like some of the other stuff sold here. 1/2 price, saving $850 is a deal….

  • +3

I think this is awesome, I'm not quite a big enough fan of Breaking Bad to justify THAT price. If there was one of Tony Soprano though…

    • +1

I'd grab myself a Simon Adebisi

      • +1

Oh wow!!! +1 from me although that would occasionally make me shash myself when I forgot about it being there.

    • -1

The sale price is not the issue, how many have been sold at that price.
That is the determination of a bargain.

      • +4

OK so how many of an item must be sold for it to be a bargain according to your rules/definition?

        • +5

          At least one?

  • +3

Thanks, will buy this on Wednesday after the OzLotto draw

    • +4

Somebody might have Brodened it by then….

    Science!

    • +3

      Bitch!

  • +1

Op I think you’ve missed a decimal point.

  • Holy overpriced

  • Not sure why this would ever retail over $1000.

  • +2

    Busted!

  • +3

Absolute bargain! Does it have bluetooth? It would be great to use as a speaker phone or an alarm clock.

    Walter is 'armless :-)

  • +4

Maybe I'll resell my razer phone to cop this

    • Now that's a bargain.

    • Thinking the same. Got a couple Razer phones coming for sure

  • +3

    Thanks OP. Bought 10.

  • +1

    Heisenberg

  • Nah.. I would rather spend my money on blue magic.

  • I got a Jessie Pinkman statue for $1k, it was so cheap.

  • This seems like something that might have had buyers five years ago. Why now, so many years after the series finished?

    • Like a classic car, it appreciates in value over time.

Imagine what it will be worth in 25 years if you keep it in pristine condition!!

      • +3

Probably less than if you took that $849 and put it in blue chip shares for 25 years.

      • It will be worth more in the future just like all those 'limited edition' Franklin Mint 'collectible' plates.

      • +1

Laughing at these plebs who can’t appreciate the value of a high-yield investment bust!

  • ill buy them all

  • +1

I see your confusion…Bargain site. Not Bogan site.

    • -8

      5 deals since 2014 syousef!

      • +1

Am I suppose to be sorry I don't have time to post $850 busts of TV show characters as bargains? Are you really trying to shame for that? Are you high?

          • +1

@aussietivoman: What are you on about? I was kidding/being facetious about you being high before but now I'm starting to wonder.

              • +5

@aussietivoman: So you went through my history and found a joke that I posted a year ago and you took it seriously? And tried to use that to ridicule me using it? Man that is hilarious. You just made my night. Did you see what video I linked to in that thread? The one poking fun at Trump for announcing a US Space Force? Perhaps when attempting a character assassination you might want to try reading some of the responses. Or don't. It's funnier this way.

                • -6

                  @syousef: Keep smoking the shisha….

You are the one calling me a bogan but then complain I am assassinating your character??

                  Grab the popcorn….

                • @syousef: Character assassination?

What have you put in your shisha?

You are the one implying I am a bogan and a meth head. Both of which may or may not be true.

But you are insulting me, you started it, yet now you claim I am attempting an assassination of your character?

Perhaps you like to play the victim - its not uncommon amongst certain groups of people and thinking about it, I am not surprised you are one of them….

                  • @aussietivoman: Dude you tried to make out that I wanted an Aussie Space Force. I didn't insult you. I insulted your deal. I did it with humour - something you have demonstrated you don't understand. And after hunting down a 1 year old post to make fun of and completely misunderstanding it, the best you can do is tell me I'm smoking drugs. Ok. Enjoy your delusions.

    • -1

I take offense at your implication that I am a "bogan" because I own this memorabilia.
