Optus have an online deal for 'eligible' optus customers. $32/month for a 32GB iPad 6th Generation with 30GB data per month on Optus 4G. Seem to have to visit the online chat to redeem. Came to attention after the telstra port in offer at JB, decided to look around at other iPad deals and for me this works out to be cheaper with my current mobile plan anyway.

Deal is as follows:
iPad. 9.7-inch Retina display and Touch ID.
Get 20% off plan fees. $32/mth over 24mths with 30GB data. Eligible existing Optus customers.

Min cost. $768 over 24mth, incl. $28/mth plan fees (incl. 20% off) and $4/mth devices fees. New adds only. Discount for min plan term. Not available with other discount offers. Ends 30/6/19.

EDIT: 128GB offer also avaliable $37/month for the same 30GB data.

  talked to optus chat, apparently its part of some "multi plan" deal, they told me its only available if you sign up a new supporting service or re contract your current plan then the 20% is valid if you choose to add the tablet at the same time, to just add this to your current account without re contracting the discount is 10% making it $35.5 per month

    Weird I'm on the chat too, I have a current sim only that is not in contract and he said I can get it without any of the things you mentioned. Maybe try a new rep?

    Mate, it is optus, each chat consultant has a different script to talk to customer. Their online support is really hopeless. Took me 4 chat over a month to fix some detail on my account, each and every time i was told it was fixed and be updated in few days. I wish not to deal them any further

    We can get the 10% off via the website cart process (no sales chat!!) but I guess the 20% deal, as you're combining the discounts on their backend for multiple devices, have to be done manually.

    Website is rather deceptive though.

    I just chatted with a rep called Kirk. He said that the 20% off is for second service .

  Telstra will do iPad 2018 32GB with 20GB data then 1.5Mbps thereafter (unlimited) for $28/month for exisiting customers, consisting of $19 device repayments, $19 plan, with $10 credit, over 12 months (plan) and 24 months (device) if you ask them. Optus having the inferior network should be cheaper than this.

  After many failed attempts I was able to get the iPad 128gb + 20GB POM data for $34 a month with Telstra. Funny how the OP posted a deal for Optus and ended up going with Telstra 😂.
