I have this whilst on holiday right now, streaming fullHD content off attached HDD to ipads and never skips a beat.

I was about to say these are useless nowadays with all the WiFi available but you justified it's usefulness immediately!

    • do you need powered usb hub for usb hdd?

  • Looks like a beefier version of the 'Mango' [GL-MT300N-V2]!

  • Can this be powered by a USB power bank?

    • It can be plugged into any laptops, power banks, or 5v DC adapters for power supply.

      • Yes, i plugged this into portable power bank & attached portable HDD to stream content in car, worked fine

  • any code for GL iNET MT300N V2?

  • i wonder if you could attach a iphone to the usb and tether the 4g from iphone?

Can do this with ROOter installed - https://ofmodemsandmen.com/

      Apparently you can

iPhone and android tethering via USB works on the ‘Mango’ version like magic - expect this to be the same. Plug in and go - no need for ROOter here.

      • This thing will get routed faster than Xerxes v Sparta
