  • wow that is one expensive mop

This thing really confuses me and makes me think that the mop part is no better than a $20 Mop that sprays water.

Unlike the Hizero, which sprays and sucks up dirty water, this thing just sprays water. Surely the dirt then just collects on the mop which then gets dirty almost immediately and then just moves dirt around the floor? It seems useless.

    • Yeah, you've gotta wonder how well it actually mops but also how much of a PITA it is to fill the head each time and hand wash the mop pads. Similar concerns as those robot vacs which claim to mop and vac, which I've also concluded are more hassle than they're worth.

A mate of mine who works for LG (he's an LG Brand ambassador) told me this doesn't use much water instead it's the dampness at the bottom of the pads which makes the fine dust stick at the bottom all the while it's vacuuming as well. So it is the real deal as it vacuums and mops at the same time. But he did say it's not really made for big spills and messes only that it replaces the need to pull out a mop every so often and a vacuum as well. So that is a really good price for a product which doesn't really have a comparable product in the market. So better check it out in person at a store first whether it works for you or not before writing it off as a mop..lol..

(N i own a Xiaomi Roborock 2 which has a mop feature as well, which is pretty lame, you comparing it to this vacuum is like comparing a desktop monitor to an OLED)..just my two cents..

        • Thanks for the explanation but as watts describes above any dirt that it picks up will be on the mop head so unless you clean the head multiple times per mopping session (which you will obviously never do) then the mop function is just useless as it will just push dirt around.

          • @C0mbat: He said that since all the major dirt gets sucked in by the vacuum part of the mop head and the pads at the bottom just pick up the really fine dust they don't end up being filthy by the end..Also any dust stuck on the pads can easily wash off at the end as the pads are attached with velcro..He owns one himself as he got it for 50%off RRP and loves the machine more than the missus..😂😂

    • it's supposed to mop and vacuum at the same time. Though I don't know where the sucked up liquid goes.

It doesn't suck up any liquid as it doesn't spray enough liquid to get sucked up. It sprays just enough to slightly wet the floor so that the mop wipes up the dirt. I just don't get the benefit over using a $20 mop and in many ways it's a lot worse.

  • this is the colour i like for Dyson.
