Nice price. Especially with the cashback. Though it took about 3 months to get the cashback last time.

  • It's says "Cashback before 16/6/19"?

    • +3

On the terms it says 30 June, I think Samsung extended it as it was 16/6 before :)

      • +2

What is the chance of getting it delivered before June 30 though?
You need the physical item to provide the serial number, and a photo of it…

        • +5

The redemption period is up until 28 July as per the terms, so you have plenty of time :) Just need to make sure you buy before 30 June.

  • Thanks and any deals on EVO Plus NVME today?

Sorry tried to copy the link but site blocked me. The 970 evo plus 512gb is $143.65 + postage (+cashback). Just search for the computer alliance one.

Looks like a pretty good deal on the 500gb 970 Evo Plus: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/173756367616 for $143.65 + cashback

Edit: appears to be free delivery

      • Yeh just ordered one :)

        • Thanks man!!! Got one!!! My new build is now almost complete!
Waiting for the Ryzen 5 3600!!!

          • @axlfan: You and me both! Need one of the new mb too though. Just 3 weeks to go!

            • @Justtip: Hope we have stock here in Aus. And I will stick to the X470 for now.
X570 is too expensive and B550 is not announced yet.

If I buy 2 500 GB in one transaction do i qualify for cashback on both ?

    • A different retailer issued me two seperate receipts so i can claim for both. Worked last time and just to make sure i was told to also used 2 seperate email address.

edit: then again another promotion i was able to claim two seperate cashback in one invoice.. 2 x 2tb pros.

The T&C states you can claim one cashback per product, up to a maximum of three different products (middle of page 3):

Maximum Eligible Claims per Participating Product purchased Maximum number of Gifts per household
      One (1) Three (3)

Which means, strictly according to the T&C, for two items of the same product you would need separate invoices and separate Redemption Accounts.

      • -1

… and presumably have a different street address?

        • The T&C doesn't specify addresses, and "maximum number of Gifts per household" suggests there could be up to three Eligible Claimants in a household (ie, same address).

Probably depends on how the claim validator is feeling on that particular day, and standing up for yourself should they try to deny the claim.
I had a month of back and forth with Sony last year proving my cashback claim was valid. Many red circles were drawn highlighting the submitted tax invoice met all their criteria.

      • Confirming I claimed with 1 invoice (CA) 2 x 500GB 860 EVO drives and no issues from Samsung cashback.
You do two separate claims on Samsung site using same invoice… need to also upload pic of drive serial for each.

        • Did you claim both with the same Redemption Account?

          • @Thrift: Yeah same account.

    • Yes, you do qualify.

Is this the lowest in history?
Or is there anywhere can check the lowest in history for products.

    • Cheapest last time was 199 plus 45 cash back, so this would be lowest in history overall.

    • Yes, lowest price for 1TB 860 EVO.

Thanks OP, bought one for $169.15.

  • -4

    So, $169.15 - 15% = $143.65. Then claim $22 cash back from Samsung.

    So 1tb SSD for $121.65. That’s amazing!

    • +2

      No, original price $199 - 15% = $169.15 - $22 cashback = $147.15

      • -2

Ok my link got removed, but I added the listed $169 1tb from computer alliance to my cart, applied the PLUSWKND coupon code and purchase price became $143

So seems I found the incorrect one, but none the less it’s a bargain lol

        • +1

Cashback can only be claimed if the seller you bought from is listed here.

You can cancel an eBay purchase within the first hour after payment is made.

          • @Master Bates: Pretty sure he bought the QVO drive which comes out to $124 per TB.

  • +2

Bought for $169.15. Will claim $22 cash back.

  • Thanks OP. Got one of the 1Tb ones. Great price!

  • Just got the cash back claimed on 2 May. Very efficient.

    • Hi Can I claim the cashback with ebay invoice?

      • +1

I'm not 100% sure but I think you should be able to. The claim needs a receipt uploaded and what I did was the photo from computer alliance. The name of the store on the receipt needs to be identical with the one populated in the claim form and there're only participated store you can choose from when you filling the form. I think that's why they need to check the receipt or the invoice. Ebay invoice shows that so I think it should be OK. Please share your experience with us. It gets verified and confirmed next day, just the money arrives late.

        • Mate,Did you buy from ebay?

          • @Behappy: Just checked for you. Yes from their ebay shop. But I did uploaded the photo of the paper receipt.

            • @WayneOZ: Thanks mate sorry to bother..does it come with cable to connect on desktop?

              • @Behappy: Mine doesn't and it's sealed in brand new box so I think it's standard. I installed it with my spare cables from the motherboard.

  • Hi Do I need a sata cable to use on desktop?

    • +1

You need both SATA and power cables for the drive to work.

  • Hi Anyone havimg an idea where I can get mounting screw for desktop HP Pavilion 570-p056a ?

  • Awesome price.. 👌can't complain
    Slightly cheaper now here https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/465811
