  I have had the mi A1 for about 12 months and have been very happy with it. My daughter has asked me to get her one so may grab one of these as it appears to also run stock android.

    I've also had the A1 for just over 12 months and I'm happy with it, although the build quality isn't the best. Phone is slightly bent and screen on the corner has lifted very slightly. I never had any issues with my previous Samsung S4 galaxy although it's not a fair comparison.

    But overall, I'm pretty happy with it, considering it was only about $200.

      I had the same problem and wasn't using a case. I bent it back myself though it wasn't perfect.
