Tried logging into the app but it wouldn't let me - presumably because I'm signed up to Gsuite.
Not sure what is the point of "One" for larger storage? I get Gsuite and unlimited Google storage (across all of Google) for $11 a month which I think is pretty good. I'm currently using 27TB - on Google one that would cost me $374 per month. LOL.

Surely it's not just about the money but about the community. What's wrong with paying it forward sometimes? I mean there's are plethora of comments in these google mini posts about people having too many and not knowing what to do with them. Although I guess you wouldn't know anything about this would you bucko, given you haven't posted any deals or helpful comments since you joined.

Ended up getting sent a code after opening a ticket with support. I don't think I was actually eligible (I had signed up on the 20th I think) but I just didn't mention it and they didn't seem to notice. Seems everyone snapped up the charcoal coloured ones so I had to get the chalk instead.
This is my first Smart speaker. I find it very tiresome having to yell at it to get stuff done. It's cool that it works pretty well but the act of talking feels like more work than just using a phone screen/remote.
I wonder if the speaker isn't in a good spot to pick up voices clearly - have you tried to reposition?

Damn, I pay for YouTube premium, Google Apps and a couple other services and don't qualify. The worst part as a high tier Google Guide I was offered a free subscription to Google One and didn't redeem it haha. Lesson learnt.

When I tried to place order, it asked for my credit card, however no charge has been deducted. I have previously never added my credit card to Google account. I used the Google Play gift card to pay for my membership.
