Super annoying! I had 4 recent online orders cancelled using gift cards and now have multiple returns eCards. If only DJs would get their online act together.
…yeah, if you can find anything through their broken search enguine (which shows items even if they are out of stock in the size you request); and if you find anything in stock at all (most of the toys appear to be out of stock but still are listed on the website…why?)
I have complained to David Jones about their broken IT before, and whilst their inventory management is improving (ie fewer items exist on their system which are long gone), the overall search and experience is still hopeless for 2019.
Also, their phone service is pretty hopeless, I was on hold for 40 minutes before a CS answered, and he wasn't apologetic at all for the wait, nor the fact that their website was broken the night before due to overload so I missed out on serveral items.
If you're going to keep mediocre staff, at least have excellent IT…

I got 5 jackets, 3 pants, 2 polos and 3 shirts. All fit really well and look ace. Some basically 90% off.
Most of the items in women’s fashion were faulty that fell in this range or very large sizes

Is it an extra 70% off the items? I clicked through from the sale page, added a few items to cart, and prices stayed the same. Am I missing something?
For me the price of the skirt I want increase and other item this has 70% off on it doesn't still show the old price although the website said priced as mark..

so, unless I'm mistaken the lowest price it could of possibly been before the 70% off is $1163.33.
But, this was of course an EXTRA 70% off something that was supposedly already reduced.
So even if it was initially only reduced by just 1 cent (not 1%) but literally $.01 from $1163.34 to $1163.33 when it initially went on clearance then a FURTHER 70% would bring it down to the current price of $349.
I know it's a bit of stretch to imagine that the initial reduction in price was even less than 1/1000 of a percent off. It wouldn't make for very convincing markdown tickets. "Now only 99.9999 of the original price! Bargain.
Someone tell me if i've got this all wrong.
I'd love to know the highest price they ever charged for these chinos.
NB I went with one of the more expensive menswear examples but i'm pretty sure there are lots of items that have not been reduced as advertised
IDK, but I went into the store and grabbed a whole bunch of stuff, some which ended up being 90% off. All good fit too.
e.g. A jacket was $499 RRP on the tag. Reduced to $149, and then $44.70 in the end. That's 91% off the tag.
Bargains found in Melbourne DJs. Tiny selection with certain deep discounts. For women, mainly sandals (normal brands) and a decent range of high end luxury heels. Sizes are very limited.
Intimates section is largely now limited to xs, s or xl, xxl.
They do put out new stock every few days as there's stuff they have dug out from the stockroom.
