I like these pens. This price is cheap for these pens. These pens are not Xiaomi, I apologise in advance.

Do not use these pens for combat. They are not mightier than the sword.

May be useful to those still looking for their $2 Shopback transaction.

The Xiaomi pens are, in my opinion, really crappy. Bought at least 10 with impulse buys. The tip is too thin, ink doesn’t flow properly.

This on the other hand looks great.

      Agreed

    • +1

Also Agreed, I was disappointed with the 3 I bought too..

    • Agreed. I couldn't get Xiaomi pens to write for more than a few words without the flow of ink stopping. Really disappointed in them.

    • Haven't bought one but in doubt now from ur comment

No wonder it last 90% longer… 2 AA batteries required

    • Must have a powered pump in them

    • I thought you were kidding .. It does say that…

  • Thanks, these look great.

  • I'd be all over these if they were papermate kilometricos!!

    • I bought a packet of these from Woolworths half price ages ago.
Not one of the pens can write instantly, have to scribble to get the ink flow first.

What do you use a pen for in this day and age?

    • +1

      Writing on paper

      • +2

        What's paper?

        • Paper is a thin material produced by pressing together moist fibres of cellulose pulp derived from wood, rags or grasses, and drying them into flexible sheets.

          • @cashie: And before you ask:

It is a versatile material with many uses, including writing, printing, packaging, cleaning, decorating, and a number of industrial and construction processes. Papers are essential in legal or non-legal documentation.

            • -1

              @cashie: I don't employee non-legal documentation.

        • +2

          Used for parking ticket too..

    • Let alone 60!

      • Same here. You'll find the ink dries inside the pen if not used by a certain time.

I like the free pens from pharma and financial services companies, they're bloody good quality!

      And also from hotels…

I don't need to buy this but thanks for sharing.
    Sent from work BTW

  • 120 for $10 at Costco but it's 60 black and 60 blue.

    • +1

If you bring in 120 of these, Costco will give you $10?

      • Obviously not.

i've bought so many pens over the years, where are they all?

    • +1

You're doing it wrong. You're obviously buying ones that other people like to use. OP'a deal should solve your problems.

      • Find a pen you like that has a twin version in red. Swap the ink around. Now you have a black/blue pen that looks like a red-headed stepchild, ain't nobody desperate enough to steal a red pen.

Checks stash of illegitimately acquired pens

Yup, mostly black and blue, one green and one sparkly? But no red.

    I absolutely love these: https://www.amazon.com.au/Paper-Write-Ballpoint-Medium-Point…

Bought over a hundred of them two years ago (son's teacher didn't complain about him not having a pen anymore, though she did mention that he was trying to sell them during class…). I've never been let down by them. Just grab a new one out of the box and I'm good to go. Heck, even if one's been laying out for a while (weeks/months maybe) without a cap, just a couple quick scribbles is all it takes to bring it back to life.

I've paid upwards of multiple dollars for a single pen and none have worked better.

    • Write Bros. 😂

    • Ordered the Bic but think I’d prefer these. Might cancel and order the Papermate. Thanks for the heads up. 👍🏻

  • Love these pens but 1mm is too thick for me :/

    • +2

      that's what she said

      • +1

        Are you always in character?

        • +2

          jagshemash my name a borat!

      • Why did I read that in Borat's voice hahaha

  • how do these compare to the office works ones ? xtra life vs x precise? 100 for $9.99 is better value isnt it? https://www.officeworks.com.au/shop/officeworks/p/bic-crista…

    • Xtra Precise are 0.8mm (fine point) vs regular 1.0mm

So, It depends if you like writing with a fine pen or not.

  • For the people who can never have enough pens.. they also sell them in a box of 144 for $19.21 which works out to be the same price per pen (7.49cents)

    • +1

They might have cheap calculators too.

  • Bought 50(different brand) for $2 from wws a couple of years ago.

  • +1

best pens in life are free

    • and you can give them to the birds and bees

I only got 59 in my package. Someone at the Amazon parcel centre is probably laughing.
