Good price for a Google Pixel 3 128GB if it is true. Link has not updated yet on the website so let us know if it does not transpire and I'll expire this deal. Just beats the recent deal from JB Hifi which needed a phone tradein.

Yea it's a tough call to pay more than $700 for this now, it's a generation behind all the current flagships and about to be superseded. That and you get better value out of the 3A

Hmm not good .. but awesome phone.
With the Pixel 4 coming soon, I would either:
A) save more and get a grey or refurb
B) spend the extra $300 or so and get pixel 4
Late October isn't "soon"
It is for $1000 to $1500 phones that are superseded every year.
one generation down Pixel 2 XL lowest price this year was $499 with almost identical hardware spec, the price drop per generation is huge.
I get downvoted the other day on other Pixel 3 post when I said Pixel 4 incoming. Whatever!

It'll be a legit price, they're $1049 at JB so $998 will be feasible. Could probably haggle it cheaper at JB. As others are saying, not sure it's a deal or great price though, more of a price drop as they're getting dated now.
haggling at JB might save you $20. waste of time. i just pay sticker price now.

My mate grabbed a XL 3, and I've got the XL 2
Just not worth the upgrade, hoping XL 4 is worth upgrading otherwise this phone does the job fine.
