      Prime includes Prime Music vs Amazon Music Unlimited, difference being limited catalog of 2 million songs and up to 40 hours listening a month.

              @Whisper Quiet: Amazon Music Unlimited claims over 50 millions song in the library. I was asking if there is a link that Amazoon removed the 40 hours limitation on the Prime Music.

              I have google play and Amazon Prime but hardly use Prime music due to the 40 hours limit per month.

                @xmchen: I've listed to Amazon Music from Prime for at least 2-3 hours everyday, so no chance it's limited to 40 hours a month.

        What factor is used to determine which music makes their selcted 2 million catolog? Is it older music, certain labels, just popular genres, etc. There is an enormous library of classical music recordings and soundtracks, that would probably only interest 5 % of the population.

    Anyone done a comparison between Amazon Music and Spotify (in regard to the music that is available)?

            @mwahahaha: We get shafted on Prime in Aus. We don't get the unlimited photo storage either, that other countries get with Prime. Supposedly they are "working on it"

              @Sammyboy: I wouldn't really say shafted when we pay $54 a year for prime and Americans pay $170~ a year ($119USD)…

              In fact I prefer the lower fee for the "basic" prime and extras that some may use can be extra.

          Prime video with prime subscription is good enough.

          I don't need that unlimited music. It's just annoying sometimes when you play it via Echo that song is not available only on Unlimited.

          I wish I know which song is with prime

    Just had two songs deleted off the playlist. Would have thought with unlimited you would have access to everything. But just like Netflix and Prime videos they only have the rights to songs for a certain amount of time. This is what I hate about streaming services.

    Prime music was a pretty empty catalogue of songs. How does unlimited prime music compare to Google Play Music (my free 3 months runs out soon) ?
