Wow, you must work for a govt department where u can hide all day, milk, and do f*** all.

I on the other hand can't hide. I get assigned a jira ticket and that ticket is tracked at our daily standup.
I need to get a goverment job where I can't be tracked by tickets.

      • I see a patient every 15 minutes and if I go for a pee it puts me further behind.

I think I need one of those government jobs too.

  • I'm new to Udemy. Do the free courses expire?

    • +1

The deals do, but after signing up for them, you can still go back to them years later.

      • Thanks

  • Thanks OP, some of them aren't free now buy I enrolled to all the rest that are still free.

      Edit the original post. Thanks.

  • I’m new to Udemy. When I add multiple free courses to the cart, the first is free with the others being charged at a discounted rate. All codes are applied. Am I doing something wrong?

    • You aren't doing anything wrong, they must have expired.
      Edited the post accordingly.

You need to enrol them straight from the product page, not add to cart. They don't expire after enrolling.

    Expired coupon
Complete Cpanel Course: Master Cpanel Step-by-Step 2019 this course went into my cart as free but wouldn't let me enrol as the coupon code had expired.
I found a new code and it worked.

    couponCode=5THOUSAND

Have they added new steps to the checkout? I used to be able to hit "enrol now" just once or twice but now it adds it to the cart => go to checkout -> enrol now (again) and sometimes the coupon is lost between those parses and I have to enter it manually.

  • I know it's free so I shouldn't expect much but how useful are the courses? I'm considering the marketing courses to learn how to diy my own stuff.

There is no harm in enrolling while they are free since they are most likely going back to their original prices soon. If you enrol now, they are available forever. If you don't enrol but decide you want to do them, you may have to pay.

      • Good point. Enrolled in the marketing courses.

C'mon man, who would need this?
"How to Install Linux Mint (Cinnamon) on a Virtual Machine | Udemy"
It's point and click! If you can sign up for Ozbargain and verify your email address, you're more than capable of installing Mint in a VM… No way is this worth the original $80 price!
Now I'm tempted to register and shit out like 50 courses about basic things.

Edit: I appreciate the deal though, free is free and there is probably something good in there.
