Ah man bought Detroit last month. Great game anyway, worth the small amount of money I played. Also get Heavy Rain/Beyond Two souls so not so bad I guess.

Dang, I just bought this last month from the US PlayStation Store sale.
lol they must have got the message when they noticed a large number of people turning off their auto renew. Personally I'm done with psplus, I play online mostly on my PC and gamepass/humble monthly gives me way more value for monthly games.
I'm thinking of doing the same once my yearly subscription is up. But I have too many games in my backlog I want to play. 😂
So if I buy a 12 month PS Plus for $79/12months now, will I get:

Sonic Mania
Borderlands: Handsome Collection

Detroit: Become Human and Heavy Rain

Is it best to wait for a sale of ~$55 like last month, or was that a once off?: @EB, @BigW, @JB, @PS, and see what August PS Plus will have? Ideally only want it for Detroit, as I was waiting for that to be on sale again for ~$20 - but if I get 4x decent titles over the next 12 months..

Great switch, seems like July is the month I reactivate my ps+ subscription.
Something is fishy, I remembered last few months, there was an incident that ps4 plus game was delayed for a week.
Ps+ games have never been 'delayed', it just varies on which day of the month the first thursday falls, as this is when the store updates.
Some months they haven't revealed which games were being added until late as well.
Only thing fishy is you spreading news of an incident that never happened.

I purchased the game for $20 on the days of play sale from big w a few weeks ago and never got around to playing it. So i traded it in at eb games today for $23.10 :)

How do I download heavy rain? I've downloaded Become Human but heavy rain is nowhere to be found?
It should automatically be added to your downloads as a separate item once you try to download Detroit from your game collection.
Has anyone tried the subscription? The description is fairly vague online. I am thinking of surprising my husband with a PS4 Pro - he really likes F1. Is it better to buy the F1 2019 game directly from the shop, or would there be a benefit buying through the subscription? Thanks for any inputs!! :-)
I suggest you buy him the F1 game as you know he will like it. The subscription is to download a possible 2 free games each month (Sony make 2 titles available to download each month) and it's a bit hit or miss if he would enjoy the games of the month. (also, wait for the PS Plus subscription to go on sale before purchasing)

I am pleasantly surprised by Horizon chase turbo. Small install size, decent graphics which is a throwback to the older games but packs a punch with gameplay. I am generally not in racing games but I really enjoyed playing this today.
how do i get heavy rain if i already own the paid version of the digital detroit game?!
Just download Detroit, check your downloads and it will be there. You can delete Detroit from the list after.

Just wondering if i install Detroit from a disk - would that make the download any smaller? Or does it still have to download the full digital game of 43GB's?
If you install from a disk, you would need the disk to be in the PS4 to play.
Also if you install from a disk - you would just need to download the updates.
Good thing is the updates automatically start downloading at the same time the disc is installing
