      • Ha ha..I did this as well. Bought the store out of every one of my size. Was hilarious having them put them all through on separate receipts. Pretty sure the line behind me was huge by the time it was all over.

Really comfy undies fwiw so I guess their marketing worked.

If you are a heavyweight like me consider passing on the multifold ladders - their max capacity is 100kg and you don't want to get on one of those things and have it collapse….

  • No stock anywhere near Newcastle. So how many people have actually found the ladder in-store to buy?

    • TWO?

Hi all, now just think of all the ozbargainers (like me) who have gone out on a public holiday into the sunshine and got fresh air whilst hunting for this elusive ladder, when they would normally be glued to their keyboard searching for bargains. That's got to be a good thing. Maybe it was Kmart's effort in the Federal Government's health campaign? LOL

    • Most people would've driven there (Lucky the carbon tax isn't being payed on top yet). Then they would have been stressed/disappointed at not finding anything. Then they would have hurriedly driven back home to check for OzB updates. All that can't be good ;-)

If they wanted to do something for the health campaign they could give us some stock of ladders (to climb up/down)! :-)

  • None at North Rocks
Scans at normal price of $79

    • I found 3.7m for $79, not 3.2m for this deal.

I wonder how Bunnings will respond to a price match challenge? Anyone who tries must then post on ozbargain if successful and the crown will surely be handed over.

  • No bargain here unless resonable stock available for statewide or nationally.

    • There could of been plenty of stock but it could of been taken already ;)

    • Today is 14th. This would not have been a bargain, if no stocks on 12th mate. 5k clicks explain the story. There are many of our OZbargain friends, who got it and they are more than to explain it a bargain.

And guess what, I never used a ladder earlier and dont think, I need. I was also thinking to get one.
This can only happen with a Ozbargainer ;)

There are many of our OZbargain friends, who got it and they are more than to explain it a bargain.how many?TWO?ONLY TWO $2 LADDERS IN THE WHOLE AUSTRALIA?.THAT NOT THE BARGAIN JUST FALSE ALARM.

Man i really don't think this deserves to be the top deal with only 1 or 2 available… maybe it should be moved to the forums :D
fantastic price forsure, but no deal here?

    • +5

I reckon they cleared these out ages ago as there wasn't even a spot or ticket where they were. Its just it took till now for someone to post about it and possibly only 1 or 2 left.

Did try to look for 1 in Hurstville, they have none.
Then bought a PS3 essential pack-with mini remote x1, hdmi cable x1, charging cablex1 and Ps3 stand for $10! The charging cable sell for $10 on its own next to it!
Still have 4 packs when I left this morning.

    145 +ve votes for non-existence deal???

  • Confirming these deals are not available at K-Mart in Maitland. There were 2 of the 3.7m Performer Multifold at $79, which is reasonable, but I can't make myself pay that now I know about the $2 and $10 deals.

  • Can any one confirm in Melbourne suburbs?

  • None at Werribee Plaza :(

  • Called all KMarts in Adelaide..No stock anywhere…

  • my brother scored a quiver of skateboards from Kmart about 6 years after scanning them for $3.40 (approx) each.

    • +1

He had to wait for 6 years in the store before scoring them?

      • …..about 6 years ago after scanning them…..

        • a quiver of skateboards? they must have got 'air'

  • LOL, funniest post ever.
heaps ozbargainers rushed to Kmart but found nothing….

  • +12

This was never a deal. It was a "one off", that gathered WAY too many blind + votes.

On another note, I found $20 on the floor at BigW in Melbourne. Be sure to check your local store!! Not sure if OfficeWorks will match it though :(

    • Yes, still two available on the floor at Kmart Helensvale this afternoon.

      • +1

Didn't have $4? (Sure they were the $2 ones?) ;-)

Have to admit I was tempted to even scan the ones marked for staff use after scanning all the other ladders the other day and not scoring. Now if I could only find that $20 I lost… ;-)

        • No, these were the '$20' $20 notes. ;-0

        • -1

          Got ya ;-)

    • +5

Local OW matched it… I found $21 on the floor there.. :-(

I have found plenty of crazy one off bargains like this ladder, we all do from time to time but a one off find is not a bargain to post.. Maybe a mention in the forum?

      • LOL, pure gold.

  • +1

I wonder if the two people who got the ladders are still perched on them getting a worldly view, from 3.2m above ground level, of the flurry they have caused!

    • +1

Kmart should sprinkle a few more of these lucky "finds" around. The number of people they would have gotten through the doors for the outlay would be worth it! ;-)

      • +1

yeah, i ended up buying a normal 35 dollar ladder anyway… sure is a good idea, bait and switch without doing anything wrong ;)

  • +1

Nearly injured myself carrying a 3.7m to the scanner LOL…scanned up @79
forgot the size mentioned in this post earlier
Thanks to OP has given me a good laugh anyway.

    • +1

It must be the exactly same ladder heaps ozbargainners have scanned already.

  • +2

Cut the 0.5m off the 3.7m ladder, then tell them it's faulty and ask to buy it for $2…and bring the posted receipt too…lol

  • Checked at Mirrabooka Sq Kmart

    They have a 3.7 m but no 3.2m
