Tamron Camera Lenses in Australia will be at the upcoming PMA Imaging & Entertainment Expo (Darling Harbour, NSW) along with all the regulars like Canon, Nikon, Olympus and Panasonic.       This doesn't look a competition to me. Unless I'm missing something, it looks like they'll be giving one of these bags away to every person that attends. The rep should add the cost of admission to the description, though. The bag isn't really a freebie if you have to pay to get in.

    Edit: Can someone provide a direct link to the coupon page? Unable to get onto normal facebook webpage from the iphone. Keeps reverting to the mobile page which doesn't show the form.

    The bag looks alright. IMO if you've spent big bucks on your camera, why would you cheap out on the bag as well. I'd get a bag that doesn't scream to thieves "look at me, look at me! Expensive camera stuff!" - this lowepro bag might have TAMRON branding all over.

    then visited facebook.com/tamron.au and 'liked' the page and now I have a voucher for a free bag. For all those doomsayers and negative commenters, it's not a competition, it's a promo to get people to Tamron's facebook page. They can count how many people get vouchers, so they can count how many bags to bring to the expo. Not rocket science, and NOT a competition.

    Where does it say anything about a free backpack? All I see is the free pouch for ipod/phone.

    Also what does this mean: "Entrance to the exhibition is granted on the basis that no Touting or Hawking activity is permitted." ?

      You will need to click "like" then it will change from the free pouch to the free bag. This is cool deal, though you need to go there and collect it yourself.

      Just you are not meant to attend to promote anything for personal or commercial gain.
      For that you need to pay an exorbanant amount of $$$$ to have a display stand

    I got two emails from Tamron; the first I believe is for a free phone/iPod pouch, but the second email is an "upgrade" to the freebie, which I am assuming is for the LowePro backpack.

    Looks good but when I liked then entered my details I got a message saying that there was a problem sending my email and that I was to ring the number "1300 882 517" to talk about it.

    When I tried to re-register, it said that my email address was already in use.

    I got a message that there was an issue sending an email
    'There was an issue sending your email. Please phone Maxwell International Australia on 1300 882 517.'
    And if you try the form again then it tells me that the email has already been used.

    On their FB page, Tamron made this comment 7 mins ago: "Hey Guys … we've just had a flood of calls and forms coming in, so we are frantically working on fixing some small bugs you are experiencing … please bear with us for a moment .. hope to have it all fixed quick smart".

    I managed to get a coupon this morning. For those on iPhones, if you switch to the desktop facebook website you can access the form from Tamron's main page.

    I'm not sure what that means. I'm one of the people that signed up but got the error sending your email message. I still haven't received any emails as of yet. Reading that statement it almost seems as if regardless of whether the facebook thing was done in time or not, anyone who has already signed up for the actual expo can get this bag at the expo?

        Thanks, after re-reading it I now understand it properly. I think the OP meant that this isn't some freebie that you can just obtain, you have to actually go there to get it (of course with the voucher).
