  Question. Does Kleenmaid still exist? I thought they went under.

  If so I wonder who’d handle warranty etc?

    It is the retailer who is legally liable for the warranty.
    So if Bunnings says there is a "3 year warranty", but know the company is bust, they are clearly liable for the full term.
    (Statutory warranty length is vague.)

    I actually bought a dishwasher from another retailer, not knowing the importer was broke. So when it failed, I went to the shop, and they just gave me a full refund, rather than try to get it fixed. (eventually!)

    But is this really a bargain? Looks like a generic design to me. Is it any better than other brands at similar normal prices?

    Looks like someone purchased their name. Why I don't know as they just put their label on any crap they could buy cheap and it looks like they do the same.

    I wouldn't touch then, overpriced RRP and cheap rubbish with limited service centres and likely no parts available out of warranty.

      The Kleenmaid of old made some damn fine products.

      Like all good names they end being sold off to become rebadged generic products.

        What did the Kleenmaid of old manufacture?

        Dishwashers were Brandt which were sold in Australia by Blanco for a third of the price.

        Washing machines were Speed Queen and cheaper at Harvey Norman.

        Cooktops were out of Italy and the list goes on. All rebadged and all sold at massive markups.

        Kleenmaid only had a reputation for ripping people off.

    You won't find a review, it's cheap rubbish with a name stuck on the front. The actually product will vary from shipment to shipment.
