  Heh I guess certain conditions have to be met - It'd cover them frying, but it won't apply if you break them in half :p

  Generally these "limited" warranties don't cover "wear and tear" which can be not always well documented!
  
  For the ram however, I'd guess if they determined the cells were worn out, eg you just ran a memtest for 10 years straight, they likely wouldn't cover them.
