  36 months contract? I can’t make that long commitment with Telstra, especially after all the fiasco with their online agents. Have to contact them several times to fix my bill and can’t access the Telstra plus or 24x7 app

    You can cancel after the first month with no penalty and just pay out the phone.

    So that's $34 X $36 = $1,224 + $50 plan = $1274 for phone and TV.

        There's no payout costs on the new plans. They are all month by month.

          @11112007: If you end your commitment early, it's probably like devorce, you keep phone, ex(telstra) gets to keep the TV. Lol

  Pretty important information for anyone waiting for the phone to arrive: You will not be included as 1 of the 1000 claimers eligible for the TV until your claim has been validated. You will not be able to claim until you have received your phone or have access to your IMEI to enter this while creating the claim.

  get TV and cancel the plan then payout the remaining phone price of $ 1,224. Might have to keep at least 1 month of service before canceling. assuming you can sell back the TV with at least $600. You will get the phone at $650 ish. or we have to send back the TV to Telstra if we cancel the service?
