10% off Apple computers at JB.

Usual exclusions apply, no iMac Pro, iPads or built to order.

Edit 12/07: They just updated the site to include the refreshed MacBook Air and Pro announced earlier this week

Edit: Officeworks has price matched JB and are also offering the latest 2019 MBA and MBP. They’re still at retail price so you can try and get them to price beat JB.

  • Guessing it doesn't include airpods?

Only if the airpods are computers.

I hate that people hate apple products and feel compelled to tell the world. Just look the other way.

  • $1439 for the MBA 2018 to probably clear stock. Only $90 cheaper than a discounted equivalent for the MBA 2019 as there's been a price cut all across the MB range.

    • I thought they had quad cores in them, only dual cores :-(

    • just noting in the apple refurb store

its currently $1315 which i think is a great price

      • True I think so as well. The price difference as people noted if you value the keyboard v3.5 and true tone (not sure what more other changes). My partner has the $500 JB Hifi gift card so we'll wait for the new MBA to appear in JB Hifi + 10%.

        • thats actually a really good price
macbook air will be under $1000 if you get entry level with 10% off

Still a joke that apple entry level is 128gb SSD

  • Is the macbook air a good buy at this discount?

If they were quad core I would jump on it, but as far as I can see they are all dual core cpu's. IMO not worth it unless you will only use it for super light stuff for the next 5 years.

        Dual core= air
        Quad or hex core= pro

The line up make more sense than recent past..you could argue on price, but people have a pair of eyes and differing priorities.
If this 10% off was for the new mBA I would buy one.

        • New macbook air is going to be cheaper, as not many people are buying the current ones.

2018 pro is dual core and quad core by the way. The new base model pro will be dual core, so a significant jump up from the AIR with not that much extra $$$

          • @onlinepred: You mean the new base model pro will be quad core

          • @onlinepred: I think in Australia that new decent quad core base MBP went up i$100!
In the US there was no price change for a whole lot more.

        • agreed

it makes so much more sense

went into the apple store and you couldn't make sense on the macbook 12 or the macbook air 13 or macbook pro 13

Where are the cheapest iPad airs these days?

    • Gumtree. Search iPad broken screen. That should get you a cheap one.

    • Check out the Optus mobile broadband/ipad deals like this https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/367156. There's always people only after the data so plan to sell the ipads BNIB. Offers around 25% off RRP would be about right IMO

As a former JB employee I should say you can get this deal at JB when ever you want.

You can just tell any sales person you're going to be joining university and 99% of us are sympathetic enough and will just give you the student pricing or 10% off depending on price tier.

Can't do it on BTO devices though.
