Small change, big impact. This black reusable bag is no longer just for the grocery store.

Baggu's standard tote that's made with durable nylon can hold 2-3 plastic grocery bags. It's ultra-lightweight and folds into a flat teeny-tiny 5x5" pouch when not in use, so you can take it anywhere - from camping trips to days at the beach.

Any deals on your $20 rulers?

  • I picked up basically the same thing from daiso for a few dollars…

Really quite expensive. Can get similar on AliExpress for about $2 or 3.

I see how this works. They charge $16 for a product which should cost $2. Not only do you signal to the rest of the world you care about the environment enough to waste money on the bag, but you will take care of the bag 8 times better than you would a $2 bag of similar quality because it was so much more expensive. This in turn will contribue to a lowering of nylon bags in land fill.

$16.96 each? Are they made out of pure Japanese silk (or something)?

    • For $16 each, they are probably made of gold thread

Woolworths has great bags very similar to this for $1-2 with no ugly designs on it.

  • That’s not a bargain…

This is so expensive! We have the same thing that we got for free from Yves Rocher. What's so special about these ones?

  • +1

Hmmm… Nylon may be reuseable, but the manufacture (even with 40% recycled, making the other 60% is a water- and energy-intensive processing of crude oil whilepumping greenhouse gases into the air) and landfill factor at end of life would absolutely kill this for me, as if the $17 price tag had not already.

  • Lol, yeah not at this price. $2 each on ebay for similar.

It's not a deal when basically the same thing can easily be found elsewhere. And to stand the deal on ecologically-friendly crutches is disingenuous.

  • small change, big impact

I hope one day I'm rich enough to say $22.95 is just small change.

Big impact? Nope. Only on my wallet.

From an environmental perspective you'd be better served buying the 99 cent bag from Woolies and donate the other $22 you've saved to a charity that plants trees!
