@lostn: If I was trying to do that I would not be using a VPN as my only protection so that is a stupid statement and it still doesn't give the Australian government anything without significant effort on their part and if they are making that effort then they probably have a good reason as it is expensive to do. I have no objection to them checking if they have a reason, it is the monitoring without cause that irritates.
Not sure if it's the PIA app on Android or terrible Vodafone reception, but the daily battery usage of the PIA app on my V30 is about 40-50 per cent. It tanks my battery.

Pure VPN I believe is somewhat cheaper & works great! Admittedly I signed up about two years back for 5 years & it cost $50US. Still pretty reasonable at last check!

Seems that i'm one of the few people having the opposite effect in terms of speed ive found PIA to be much slower than Nord then again i only use the Aus servers, dont notice any speed loss on aus connection.
