  these drives have a history of getting really hot and having super slow speeds.
  probably not ideal for transferring large files..

    Yeah, 150 MB/s read speed and only USB 3.1 Gen 1. Still 5 years warranty.

      Wow. That's very slow. USB 3.1 gen 1 is capable of 5 Gbit/s (625 MB/s). Why is this thing so slow?

        I think it came out late 2016. Probably an early chip, that and they cheaped out.

  I got both for $20 because of the delivery. They are not tooooooooo bad but they get hot as fuc* and the writing speed is a heartbreaking.

    I got the same deal for $10. Agreed about the temps though. Literally untouchable on some parts during heavy I/O.
