  Awesome laptop, I think its $999 at the US store, the GST and other import duties bring it up quite a bit.

    The exchange rate being only two thirds of the US dollar alone brings the price up in AU dollars.

    I don't mind prices being a lot lower in the US at this exchange rate, but it used to pxxx me off when the AU dollar was higher than US dollar and we still had to pay more than US customers (even for digital goods where transportation is not a factor).
