  I am almost certain that the amount of money you save buying UK PAL copies offsets the potential trade-in value of hugely overpriced Aussie PAL games. Also, I have heard quite a few accounts of people being able to trade in UK PAL games anyway.

    On some specials this isn't true, but here you're saving $20-$30 per title so yes, you may as well order it from the UK and keep it… and still do slightly better than buying it here then trading it in.

    In my opinion, buying locally is a good option when the buyer:
    -doesn't have a credit card
    -wants the game earlier
    -feels uncomfortable with overseas purchases
    -wants better return policies.

    80% of the games I own are from overseas so I'm definitely not gunning for Australia's gaming industry.

    Oh, this is OZbargains not UKbargains (I'm going to cope it so bad now!)

      I'd argue about the return policy bit. I ordered a copy of HAWX from a reputable UK vendor and it had a cracked disc. The nice lady I contacted didn't even need me to send the disc back or email a photo of the cracked disc to her. She just sent it to me.

      OK, so this isn't EB's 7 day satisfaction guarantee which people can use to 'borrow' games for a week but if you genuinely want a game (and most of us do when we purchase them), being selective about the online vendor can yield both a saving and can still be non-risky.

    Yeah, there's a few decent $15 games - Red Faction Guerrilla, Darksiders, Split/Second Velocity and Lost Planet 2 included.

  Been price matching and "renting" games at eb games. Better then uk import if bargain is of top priority.

  Yeah I got it from Game.. last week but for those whom are lazy I guess look at it this way, $10 Game + $10 postage :P
