The upcoming Tamron 17-28 f2.8 for Sony can be pre-ordered with the coupon - bringing it down to 1,420.20.
Anyone know how it compares to the 16-35 2.8 gm???
No solid tests as of yet - will have to see once we get closer to release and more reviews of the final product are out. If its anything like their much loved 28-70, it will most likely perform very close to the 16-35GM (who knows if better or worse?) (apart from the different focal length).
im guessing very similar. except that the Sony has a far better focal range.

Yes and at 61mega pixel, it is more revealing and will need a very sharp lens to take advantage of the resolution.

I purchased this same lens from them in a previous sale a month ago, after I bought it I was sent an email saying that the lens is in high demand & out of stock. Picked up a week later, no issues for me overall.
purchased a different lens. except was told 2 months. Had to to make repeated calls to get a refund. not impressed with them.

I've got this lens it is great. Stacks up very well against the much more expensive SONY GM lens although that has more range at the wide end.

this would be a new addition to the $94.xx plus tax Sony A6000 camera that I got from amazon US at prime day.

ordered 2 days ago, was a bit worry after reading some review about the site.
Got it today, brand new very well packed in the box. Came with a free tim tam too… cant be happier.
I'm surprised too, my previous experience hadn't been great with them. Glad I gave them another chance, very happy with the delivery here too.
