I would not fly with Malaysia airlines even if it is free!
Being panicky as if you think I don't know? I can't help but keep thinking what happened, for how long? Return journey 30~40 hours to London?! I don't want to mentally torture myself for that long.

    • I flew with them last year after Qatar airlines let us down badly by overlooking a flight. No problems at all for an economy airline flight.
I can't afford Quantas or business class so just have to cop the torture I guess…haha.

Keep in mind that review sites are often dominated by one-off extremely positive or extremely negative outliers, rather than offering a representative body of views.

      • These customer ratings are interesting, quite often the experience of one passenger can be very different from another one on the same flight. I don't think people are able to rate flights objectively. Flying (for holidays) is a special occasion for many and one hiccup at check-in or friendly smile from a stewardess can completely change someone's perception. Also, flying in an A350 is a much nicer experience than being stuck for 12 hours on an older 777, regardless of the carrier. For long haul flights between Aus and Europe, I would pick Singapore Air over Garuda any time.

      • TigerAir 0.1 point below Singapore?!?! Me thinks staff members have been 'reviewing' Tiger… because no way they are that high.
Jetstar at 3.9 is about where Tiger should be.

The rest seem to be around where I'd grade them… with a few exceptions. As much as I like Virgin over Qantas they shouldn't be in the 7's.
Surprised Emirates are so low as well.

China Southern should be much lower too.

I love Malaysia Airlines, great value and excellent service.
The problem is these dates, who would leave Australia's summer for London's winter? That's why they are cheap.

    • -5

London's summer is equivalent to Aussie winter so ur not really trading up much going another time lol

      • When I went to London in summer it was 25 degree days with sun from 4am to 11pm. Wish we had that here during winter!
