    It is an IPS.

    Wasnt even aware that IPS VS the other panel was a thing. But a quick read on Rtings and they make it seem like a personal preference. However on the AV forums most people seem to hate IPS panel TV's.

    Anyone own this TV or an IPS panel TV ?

      IPS is preferred for monitors for things like photo editing and graphic design, as it has better colour accuracy, however it can't achieve contrast as good as VA. IPS TVs are a good option for those wanting to use a tv as a monitor though.
