2x TP-Link Smart Wi-Fi E27 LED Bulb with Colour Changing Hue $8, or 2x Non Colour Changing for $12 @ Harvey Norman

1540

Colour Changing bulbs are now out of stock but you can try purchasing the White dimmable bulbs

Add two to your cart and proceed to pay and it should only ask for $8. You may need to press the Enter key, refresh the page, or navigate backward and forward to update the price in the cart.

This is part of the 2 for 1 deal Harvey Norman are running but I'm not sure if they will cancel the orders.

        • I got the confirmation email, no order cancel yet. If it ever gets to pick up, I'll let you know if they let me pick up. My HN is 3 minutes away and I got nothing to do :)

          • @wayne7190: Yeah please let us know.

Also a guy above saying he got the order ready for pickup wonder if he got it?

            • @mt2000: I didnt even get my pickup confirmation, just went in store and picked it up. They just took the items off the shelf, checked with manager and gave to me.

            • @mt2000: tried to call the store, they said they can't find anything. Tried online chat and was told the store already got the order and I should contact the store myself, they can't do anything…
The order is probably dead. I'll try to go there now and see
P.S. for told it's pricing error, order will be cancelled…

    • changing the way they work

    • +1

Mind elaborating on the changes? Just bought a couple of these in the past week.

Making them full cloud based, you cant use without cloud

        • But today no cloud. Sky is clear!

Hi. Sorry, your order has been delayed. It shouldn't take too long. We'll contact you as soon as it's ready.

  • Anyone else on ‘back order’?

  • Store called me just before and refused to honour the deal.

    • That’s encouraging. Thanks though..😉

I got an email thinking that it means it’s ready for pickup. Came into the store, and they haven’t gotten the order ready yet. It’s just an order confirmation. Am surely going to be disappointed.

    • why not grab it from the shelf for them ?

      • I thought of doing that but none on shelf

    • Lol … I did exactly the same thing

Why list items for sale if you're going to delete them when people post about them? That's not how shops are supposed to function…

    • They don't delete them. Product page just gets disabled while they fix the price error.

went to hn springvale sales guy said orders will be cancelled.

    • Thanks

Harvey Norman are pathetic. Can't even afford to honor this deal? That shows how well they're doing.

    • +3

The sooner they are consigned to the annals of history, the better it would be for ozbargainers.

  • +4

I'm as hopeful as anyone that their order won't be cancelled but dam the entitlement of ozbargainers to expect a pricing error to be honoured is despicable.

    • +9

Only because it's Harvey Norman, I have no sympathy for a company that charges exorbitant amounts for anything.

      • +9

Given that harvey norman was probably a large reason why you now get charged GST on overseas purchases, I second that feeling.

  • +3

    Thanks OP.
Picked up mine from HN Alexandria with no issue.

PLACES ORDER WENT TO PICK UP AT CARINGBAH THEY REFUSED SALE EVEN THOUGH FULL PAYMENT WAS RECEIVED

    • +4

AS NORMALLY HAPPENS WITH PRICING ERRORS. WHY ARE WE YELLING?

    • THANKS FOR YOUR FEEDBACK

  • -2

They have to honour the deal otherwise you could call up to fair trading.

    • Pricing errors happen all the time, they dont have to honor it. We have gone over this again and again on here.

      • well they might have to honour as they allready took the cash from me so under law they accepted the offer cause they have the cash now they owe me the product, there are sites which dont bill till the product is despatched this is a safety net for problems like this.

        • well they might have to honour as they allready took the cash from me so under law they accepted the offer cause they have the cash now they owe me the product

No they dont. Again we have gone over this many times on ozbargain. Call consumer affairs/fair trading if you want and they will tell you the same thing.

You are making an offer to buy. They have the right to reject the offer and return your money.

there are sites which dont bill till the product is despatched this is a safety net for problems like this

Very very few sites work like that.

  • The professionals have done it again

  • Added 2 to cart yesterday and checked out as 2 for $34.
Just got an email confirmation and they've removed one from the order (so 1 for $34). Thanks Gerry.

  • Just received an email stating they will not honour it. Oh well

    • I got the email too despite picking up my order successfully. I haven’t gotten the tax invoice though (I’m thinking that it didn’t register properly when I picked them up), so I would struggle with a warranty claim if needed.

Anyone know if I can just ask Harvey Norman to cancel refund and issue tax invoice? I’d rather forgoe the $8 for my warranty.

Seems they rushed this email out without proofreading/editing -
“We do apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused. Your refund will be automatically processed with the next 24-48 hours.”

Have to laugh that it’s signed off from “Harvey Norman Customer First Team”! Isn’t the customer always right hence where are my globes!? :P

  • Just got the email. "Your refund will be automatically processed with the next 24-48 hours."

      same

    • We do apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Can't even word an email properly. Apologies instead of apologise. Pathetic Harvey Norman.

  • Hahahha same here

  • -3

Same here, and this reinforces my case of NOT buying from them EVER.

    • +1

      But you just did

  • +2

Same cancellation email received. Pity for the time wasted.

We do apologies for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

Yeah yeah, we have had enough of your dry apologies.

Harvey Norman stays as a "free showroom" for me where I go and test appliances before buying them online for a better price. Can you "cancel" that too, Gerry?
