    I guess it's not really any different to going to a nice restaurant and it saying on the menu "10-course Banquet $100pp (Minimum 4 people)". Technically I can't get the banquet for $100 either.

    (FYI not agreeing with the marketing principle just pointing out where I've seen it commonplace elsewhere)

      It is very common to do this. You see companion fares listed that way, banquet meals, cruise ships etc; listed as per person with multiple people required. Not sure why anyone would think it is misleading or should be illegal.

  I've seen packages starting at 309 pp in Feb/Mar ex Syd. Even at $480 you could ditch the hotel for something better and still call this a deal
