Don't forget the couple percent of cashrewards (I did)

Before you say the $15 doesn't work, go all the way to checkout/payment screen

There are also games, xbox controllers etc. available if pro controller isn't your thing

One in the original post is official Nintendo. The one you linked is a third party controller with programmable back buttons

      Official is always better

Main difference: only the official controller has hd rumble/vibration, the third party don't

      Thanks to you both

Where is the $15 off code….? Doesn add in the cart from what i can see.

    • When you check out you'll see it

  • Would you recommend this official controller has hd rumble/vibration, or the Xbox one S wireless controller?

      I have both controllers

The official switch pro controller is the best controller out there

Very nice feedback from the thumb sticks

Very nice weight and comfortable to hold

Ergonomic for hours of zelda :)

Perhaps the only thing that sucks is the joypad too spongy

There's a big "BUT" in this.

Dpad is awful on the pro. I dunno if they updated it but there hasn't been such a thread on r/nintendoswitch.

The dpad will accidentally input diagonals even when you're trying pretty hard to not let it happen. When clicking the left arrow, a tiny bit of uneven pressure will cause an up or down input too. You can hold on the tip of the left button, and wobble your finger up and down to input up and down.

It's an amazing controller, but if you're expecting to play tetris or platformers, it's best to use joycon or a third party controller.

      • I got both. If I was playing on pc i'd go with the xbox one. It's still more comfortable to me, but only just. Nintendo have done a good job this time around (its a huge upgrade from the joycons too). ALso on the pc, most games are made to work with the xbone one and microsoft actually patch it/give updates to it for windows use.

Amazon also have them for $69 delivered in case you want multiple controllers and/or don't want to go through the cancellation process for catch

    • Awesome, thanks.

Be a bit careful with third party resellers

There are fakes out there but I have a store bought one to compare this catch one with :)

I assume amazon filters their resellers but hey I'd rather get $76 from Amazon direct if I couldn't get this deal - hey I paid $89 from jbhifi for mine …

      • Haven't had to use Amazon guarantee yet, but between that and my credit card protection, I am comfortable buying most items on Amazon.
Cheers for the heads up though. Will give it some close scrutiny once it arrives.

        • Thanks good point I may be a bit less careful with third party next time I buy - normally try to avoid

        • How do you find a genuine one on amazon?

          • +1

@Mesmus: Use the above link, select the "23 new from $68.88" and you'll see amazon in there unless you want to take a chance

  • Bummer that you need Club Catch. Guess it's like bargains from Costco and Ebay Plus.

    • Even with club catch I got no offer. So hit and miss

Guys, you can buy this 8bitdo mario brick usb thingy and it connects a ps4 controller or xbox one and it works great docked mode. I got 2 plugged in no lag

    • Nice one, thanks I'll probably be ordering one. Prefer my PS4 controller over everything
