Its a rock dude. Go and climb it anyway. 1,000's of others will.

  • When booking a flight and selecting no checked luggage the website says:

"Are you sure? It's more expensive to add baggage online later, and much more expensive to add it at the airport."

Does anybody know how much more expensive it is to add baggage online later? I'm just not sure how much I will need to take yet.

    • IIRC you should be able to see the charges for adding aditional luggage (up to 40kg) as you proceed thru the booking process before actually finalizing the booking

      • Yep, I mean if I make the booking now and don't add any checked luggage, but then come back to the website in a few days and add checked luggage to my booking then, how much extra will it cost (in addition to what I would pay if I added the checked luggage now).

I’m glad you clarified Avalon was in Victoria and Brisbane was in Queensland. Could muck a lot of people up!

    Sydney → Hobart = $69
    Launceston → Sydney = $46
    $115

    Good price???

    • Seems pretty good. You’ll have to keep in mind that checked baggage is extra though.

      • Yes, of course, it's Jetstar..

I just don't really know the normal price for a Sydney ↔ TAS. But after i found out the cost of that ferry, the Spirit of Tasmania, from MEL return to TAS is ridiculously expensive. I guess you are not paying for a fare but an experience…
