    Personally, I love Hybrid Smartwatches. "Classically" stylish, yet functional. I don't want to be distracted by yet another screen on my wrist, but a quick glace when it buzzes can tell me how important it might be to check my phone.

    I have the Fossil Q and am hoping that this space develops further. Wouldn't mind more with discreet displays like the:
    - Withings HR
    - Nokia HR
    - Garmin Vivomove HR

      Agree, I have a Kronaby, looks like a watch, sapphire waterproof, and 2 year battery. Highly recommend.

        Thanks for highlighting another brand! But woo, for that price? Seeing it as ~$600+AUD… what made you select this brand out of interest? (Granted, loving some of their watch designs).

          Bit of a watch nerd myself, like Swiss watches, have a few, but also tech so this is a great combination. Read about it on wareable. Actually purchased on ebay the day before gst came in for os purchases from place called iguanasell I think which have been great.

          Also sounds pretentious but I only buy watches with sapphire as I tend to scratch others and then it annoys me every time I look at them.

            Don't buy an apple watch then.. JerryRigEverything tested the sapphire glass on that and it was technically sapphire glass, but nowhere near as hard as a Tissot sapphire glass watch face

              @cwongtech: Interesting, i've owned 2 sapphire apple watches and they never scratched so was ok for me. but certainly not my favourite watch. Any watch where you cant always see the time for me is less than ideal.

              @cwongtech: You can get 9H tempered glass screen protectors for most smartwatches. I have one on my Ticwatch Pro for the very reason that I hate scratches as well.

    I have one and love it too. Original battery lasted me a year. Would recommend it if you can get stock as a quick check showed that it is click and collect only at certain locations.

    Walked in to JB melbourne central. Managed to get one black/tan. They still have another one is stock. They also have the silver and black one, I didn’t ask them to scan the black and silver though, so not sure if they’re also $49

        Sorry mate I didn't ask, the guy on the phone had to go and hunt for one. He said it's probably the display model but turns out it's a new one.

        I called Chadstone first and they said only Southland and Prahran in the area were showing stock (at 9am)

        not sure, I think cannington had one from memory, if you call the two numbers are the skus for them to search.

    There is one rose gold (floor stock) available at Joondalup WA store. Need to visit the store to get it as they wouldnt take payment over the phone. I managed to get the black/tan watch half hour ago.

    Great post. Got the Rose gold, brown strap model from Mile End, S.A. Last one, display model. Staffer who put it aside for me had to tell other staff they couldn't have it, as it was sold.

    Thanks OP! Rushed from galleries that had none to the strand-waited till they opened & was 1st in. Even sales dude was surprised at discount when i showed him the jb add. Dude said was older model & must've been told by Skagen to offload. His system said he had 2, scrounged in cupboard & pulled out a grimy kinda looking box but inside pristine black tan.
    They had 2 yet I ofc only grabbed one. As to my right by this time i saw dude looking at same add on his phone - quick word to him ['skagen Hagen?' he says & I nod & then we both say 'ozbargain? ' lol] that came in after me & was there looking for same thing #OzBargainFamiy 😉

      Battery needs to be changed every 4-6 months which is not the case with your Apple watch.
